I may look like a girl, walk like a girl, dress like a girl, but what I talk about and what I do are not very girly.
That’s me with the bowling ball. Tag name “Madski”
She’d say “Oh my gosh, I just love your shoes!” or “Wow, did you just cut your hair? It looks great,” when in fact, it grew about 3 inches over the past six months.
They’ll chat about clothes, face creams, makeup, diets, their bodies, other women, and more, but all I can think about is “BORING.” All I’d want to talk about concerns food, my electronics (4 laptops, 1 desktop, 2 smart phones, 1 iPad, 1 Playstation Vita), more food, education, ridiculous facts, jokes, video games (dislike the SIMS game), animals, and more food. Not very girly topics, but for me they are more interesting.
Occasionally, I’d hear myself saying “Oh my goodness, I love your dress!” It would be a genuine compliment, but then a whole conversation might come from it…so I’ve learned to limit my compliments these days.
It can be annoying at times because I might not fit in where I should be, or what comes out of my mouth just leaves people looking at me cross eyed.
I’d run around my job trying to save a spider if I had to while other women will squeal and run.
I love all animals and most insects…YES..including snakes…and spiders!
I dislike malls and shopping.
What’s wrong with me????
If I do go shopping and find something I like, I’ll end up buying many of the same thing, but in all the colors they have.
If I have to go with another girl to the mall, I’d bring my Playstation Vita with me and wait outside if I could or tell her I’d meet her in Barnes and Noble.
Oh wait…I CAN do one girly thing…and this thing I love. I love to cook and bake….well, I guess because it has to do with food, and I love to EAT. I can’t gain any weight though….see below.
Funny thing is, the more I hang out with girls (let me fix that by saying “women”), I am starting to pick up their habits. I am finding myself doing more girly things at work than I would like. Oh noooooooooo!!! I need to call my mother…
